What is Corten®?
COR-TEN® steel is the preferred choice of roll formed product end-users. Its unique look and naturally oxidizing finish make i especially desirable for many architectural projects.

Weathering steel is a group of steel alloys developed to obviate the need for painting, and form a stable rust-like appearance if exposed to the weather for several years.

Material does not arrive pre-rusted. Panel will rust naturally with exposure to the weather.

1/2" Corrugated is a classic panel that combines strength with old school style. This panel is our lowest profile at half inch deep.

Rusted corrugated roofing is the latest trend in roofing products and architecture. Its unique look and naturally oxidizing finish provides a beautiful color and texture. It is the ultimate no care product because no one ever has to paint or scrape rust.

In stock in 22 Gauge or 19 Gauge Bare Cold Rolled Steel. Corten 1/2" Corrugated must be made to order in large quantities only. If you have a small job in Corten corrugated please use 7/8" Corrugated as that item is in stock.

  • A606 ( AKA Corten ) has superior corrosion resistance over bare cold rolled steel.
  • Matching trim and flat stock available for rusty corrugated roofing.
  • Painted screws in a Koko Brown finish are available to match.
  • Fiberglass skylight panels are available to match the profile of this corten panel.

Recommendations and Cautions
  • A606-4 and Bare Steel performs best in environments with low humidity
  • Load calculations and load tables DO NOT APPLY TO ANY A606 OR BARE STEEL PRODUCT.
  • A606-4 should not be used with dissimilar metals other than stainless steel. This will decrease the lifespan of the product. Screws to be Stainless Steel/Painted Brown Head.
  • Roofing Underlayment Should be a HIGH TEMPERATURE UNDERLAYMENT.
  • Minimum roof slope 3:12 recommended.
  • Not recommended near salt spray environments and frequent rain locations as it will shorten the life expectancy of the products.
  • Acid washing will degrade steel performance.
  • Rust runoff will likely stain the surrounding surfaces.
